Hello everyone, welcome to Cuernavaca, Morelos, the "City of Eternal Spring"! Home to historic monuments, lush botanical gardens like the Jardín Borda, and the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM) You will be visiting us during a beautiful, warm, and vibrant season. The UAEM will host the 74th Annual Meeting of the Southwestern Association of Naturalists, scheduled for April 22-25, 2027. The meeting will take place at the conference center of the Hotel Hostería Las Quintas. We will take you across our historic city to explore its rich biodiversity, nearby protected natural areas, and our beautiful university campus integrated with nature. |

¡Hola a todos, sean Bienvenidos a Cuernavaca, Morelos, la "Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera"!
Hogar de monumentos históricos, exuberantes jardines botánicos como el Jardín Borda y la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM). Nos visitará durante una temporada hermosa, cálida y vibrante.
LaUAEM será la anfitriona de la 74ª Reunión Anual de la Southwestern Association of Naturalists, programada del 22 al 25 de abril de 2027.
La reunión se llevará a cabo en el centro de conferencias en el Hotel Hosteria las Quintas. Los llevaremos a través de nuestra histórica ciudad para explorar su rica biodiversidad, áreas naturales protegidas cercanas y nuestro hermoso campus universitario integrado con la naturaleza. ¡Esperamos que se unan a nosotros para una reunión memorable en la primavera de 2027! in the biology, natural history, and conservation of the flora and fauna of
the southwestern United States, Mexico, and Central America.
Membresía en la Asociación está abierta a cualquier persona interesada en la biología, historia natural y conservación de la flora y fauna del suroeste de los Estados Unidos, México y Centroamérica.

southwestern naturalistThe Southwestern Association of Naturalists was founded in May 1953 to promote the field study of plants and animals (living and fossil) in the southwestern United States, México, and Central America and to aid in the scientific activities of its members. The Association holds an annual meeting and publishes THE SOUTHWESTERN NATURALIST online. Membership is open to all persons interested in natural history. The Southwestern Association of Naturalists fue fundada en mayo de 1953 para promover el estudio de campo de plantas y animales (vivos y fósiles) en el suroeste de los Estados Unidos, México y Centroamérica y para ayudar en las actividades científicas de sus miembros. La asociación tiene una reunión anual y publica THE SOUTHWESTERN NATURALIST. La membresía está abierta a todas las personas interesadas en la historia natural. |
